Advice
I recommend staying in Hong Kong for 4/5 nights.
Theres a lot to see and do but can be done in a short period of time.
It's also very expensive to eat and drink in Hong Kong
- Beers 10€
- Chinese Meals - 10/15€
- Western Meals - 15/25€
Hong Kong metro is the quickest and easiest source of transport in Hong Kong.
Buy an Octopus Card (like a leap card) can be used on Metros, Trams and Busses.
The card costs 150HKD and with that you get 100HKD credit on the card.
You can also return the card in the airport for 50HKD refund when finished.
Check the weather before you visit the Victoria Peak and Waterfront in the evenings it needs to be clear sky to see all the city lights i was unfortunate that it was cloudy both times i went.
Also a lot of shops and restaurants will not open until 11am on weekdays but theres some that will open early in the morning.
The best time to visit Hong Kong is also weekdays, Avoid public holidays and weekends as it gets very crowded with Chinese coming down for shopping.
