Advice

I recommend staying in Singapore for 3/4 nights.

Theres a lot to see and do but can be done in a short period of time.

If you plan on doing Universal Studios stay for one more night.

It's also very expensive to eat and drink in Singapore.

- Beers 10/15SGD

- Asian Meals - 10/15SGD

- Western Meals - 20/25SGD

Singapore subway is the quickest and easiest source of transport in Singapore.

I just purchased return tickets to the Marina Bay station as China town and Clarkes Quay were in walking distance. Single fare tickets are 1.50/2SGD.

Marina Bay has its own shopping complex and Casino you can check out for some branded shopping.

Also at 8pm and 9pm every night they have the light show in the gardens and they also do a water show at the front of Marina Bay Hotel.

I would recommend visiting the water show first at 8pm than walk to the light show in the gardens afterwards so you can see both in the one evening.

The best time to visit Singapore is also weekdays, Avoid public holidays and weekends as it gets very crowded.

Airport Shuttle from the Hostel costs 9SGD per person from Hostel.
